It’s literally so annoying hear 15 year olds and younger complain about being virgins and haven’t been kissed. It shows how sexualized society is and how much pressure young teens get for not doing these things. And it’s just so funny to me because you know the people who are mostly forcing them? Grown people. Grown people show it and advertise it in teen shows with actors who are 37 and have these baby teens feeling inadequate about themselves because they aren’t doing what “teenagers should be doing”. And saying things like “you haven’t dated yet?”, “you haven’t kiss yet?”, “you haven’t had sex yet?” to 15 year olds! And I have to say that’s not normal, it’s not normal for a 13-15 year old teenager to feel sad about not having sex. It’s just uncomfortable in my opinion. And I know I have really young followers too, so I’m just gonna tell you, you are not NOT normal for not having sex, not dating, not being kissed, not doing anything intimate at all. You are still so young, don’t feel the pressure from society. Just focus on you and forget about anyone else. And that is hard, but think of it as a “at least it wasn’t me” thing when you see the worse situations happen possible when you see people in relationships. It’s okay.

If anyone wonders why I’m so upset that trump is winning I’ll explain it to you.

I’m upset for the hispanics whose families could be deported.

I’m upset for the muslims who could be blocked from entering the us or segregated like Jews were during the holocaust.

I’m upset for the LGBT+ community whose marriages could be voided, and whose young people might have to endure conversion therapy.

I’m upset for the women who could possibly be legally fired/turned down for a job, and who will have to deal with the sexism that the leader, the FACE, of our country obviously has.

I’m upset for anyone who isn’t a straight, white, male. They might have to deal with a president who could easily ruin their entire lives.

no offense but i need everyone to stop saying that “we survived” bad presidents before. like, i get it, the country has weathered people like andrew jackson and ronald reagan and will probably weather trump. but when you say “we survived” andrew jackson? tell that to the 4000 (of 16000) cherokee who died on the trail of tears. “we survived” ronald reagan? tell that to the 650,000 americans who have died of aids– a national health crisis which reagan refused to even recognize? 

you know who “survived” presidents like trump? people who never had to be afraid of them in the first place.

Like it literally doesn’t matter if Trump can’t do any of the impossible, illegal things he’s promised. It doesn’t matter, because as soon as a platform built on hate is validated in this way, culture changes. Britain the morning after the Brexit vote was a different place. It wasn’t just the measurable rise in hate crimes and plummeting economy, it was people feeling free to say all the ugliest things they’d ever thought because they knew at least half the country was behind them.

In the coming days and months, please stay safe. Please never stop fighting for a better world. This won’t be forever.
